Software Engineer, Native Mobile in USA

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship native iOS and Android applications using Swift/SwiftUI and Kotlin/Jetpack Compose.
  • Deliver mobile features including search, AI assistant, agents, notifications, widgets, App Intents, share extensions, and live voice modes.
  • Define mobile architecture covering module boundaries, networking, persistence, concurrency, observability, performance, accessibility, and offline behavior.
  • Own mobile CI/CD, automated builds and tests, code signing, TestFlight and Play Store deployment, phased rollouts, and release health monitoring.
  • Establish an AI-native development workflow with agent-friendly repositories, automated test generation, AI-assisted review, and tooling for coding agents.
  • Build and distribute enterprise app variants and own mobile authentication, token/session handling, identity-provider policies, and managed-device support.
  • Design admin-controlled data protection and audit events, collaborate with Security and Admin teams, and represent mobile in enterprise security reviews.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of software engineering experience and 4+ years shipping production mobile applications on both iOS and Android.
  • Proficiency in Swift or Kotlin, working knowledge of the other language, and willingness to develop cross-platform fluency.
  • Experience owning mobile CI/CD and release infrastructure, including tools such as Fastlane, Xcode Cloud, GitHub Actions, Gradle, code signing, and staged rollouts.
  • Experience with mobile authentication including OAuth 2.0/PKCE, OIDC/SAML, MSAL, ASWebAuthenticationSession or Custom Tabs, Keychain, and Android Keystore.
  • Experience shipping OS integrations such as widgets, App Intents or Shortcuts, extensions, and background work on at least one platform.
  • Ability to own problems end to end in an ambiguous startup environment and use AI coding tools while maintaining quality.
  • Preferred experience migrating hybrid or cross-platform apps to native and shipping in MDM/MAM-managed enterprise environments.
