Responsibilities

Gather user requirements and write code in various programming languages to build high-quality software.
Assist Senior Engineers with software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.
Produce software specifications and determine operational feasibility.
Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation describing software requirements and solutions.
Deploy software programs and evaluate user feedback.
Maintain and debug software and comply with project plans, coding standards, and industry standards.
Design and implement software service architecture for high-throughput and fault-tolerant services.
Design and manage databases supporting online services.

Requirements

A master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field plus one year of related work experience; or a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in one of these fields plus three years of related work experience.
At least one year of experience developing software using Java, Go, C++, JavaScript, Ruby, or Python.
At least one year of experience maintaining and debugging software.
At least one year of experience designing and implementing software service architecture for high-throughput and fault-tolerant services.
At least one year of experience designing and managing databases for online services using MySQL or Redis.
At least one year of experience using Unix or Linux operating systems.

Benefits

Full-time employment at 40 hours per week.
On-site location in San Jose, California.

Salary: $187k - $317k/yr
