Responsibilities

  • Build and launch iOS products and services that solve real-world customer problems.
  • Independently implement components and features with some guidance while evaluating technical tradeoffs.
  • Collaborate with engineers across teams and with Product and Design partners on design, scoping, prioritization, and delivery.
  • Perform code reviews, participate in technical design reviews, and write high-quality tests.
  • Develop testable, maintainable, stable software while maintaining strong code quality and operational rigor.
  • Drive engineering-led initiatives that improve platform efficiency and operational excellence.
  • Create clear documentation, including diagrams, service descriptions, decisions, and runbooks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 2 years of professional iOS development experience using Swift, including shipping apps to the App Store.
  • Familiarity with modern Swift practices such as SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency; exposure to reactive programming frameworks is a plus.
  • Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, iOS design patterns, and mobile development best practices.
  • Experience integrating with RESTful backend services.
  • Ability to collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering stakeholders and make thoughtful technical decisions.
  • Strong attention to product design, usability, detail, verbal communication, and written communication.
  • Experience with Scrum or Agile development methodologies.
