Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical designs in collaboration with product managers.
  • Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of platform features and service capabilities.
  • Design database schemas and REST/gRPC interfaces.
  • Use AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate implementation, automate repetitive tasks, optimize performance, and support testing.
  • Write maintainable code with comprehensive unit tests and conduct rigorous code reviews.
  • Migrate legacy infrastructure and authentication systems to modern cloud platform architectures.
  • Troubleshoot live-site issues, fix integration bugs, and resolve customer and player problems.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to technical hiring, mentoring, and team growth.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of professional software development experience.
  • Strong foundations in algorithms, data structures, operating systems, and distributed systems.
  • Deep backend development experience with Java or similar languages.
  • Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar IDE assistants.
  • Experience designing or architecting components of large-scale systems or online services.
  • Experience troubleshooting live sites and maintaining service availability.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical major.
  • Experience building and operating high-throughput, large-scale distributed online services is preferred.
