Responsibilities

Develop and enhance customer-facing experiences on Wellmark.com using frontend web technologies.
Design, implement, and improve user interface components focused on usability, accessibility, and digital experience.
Support web content management systems used by Marketing and Corporate Communications teams.
Collaborate with developers, marketers, leaders, and business stakeholders to plan solutions, gather requirements, and deliver enhancements.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, take ownership of assigned work, and contribute to team initiatives.

Requirements

Be a current junior, senior, or master’s student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Have experience or exposure to SCSS, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, or frontend web development.
Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, accountability, and attention-to-detail skills.
Be proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and collaboration tools such as Teams.
Preferred qualifications include a previous internship, co-op, or campus leadership role; website or personal web development experience; familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design; and understanding of Agile development practices.
