Responsibilities

  • Own a project while regularly checking in with team members for questions and updates.
  • Improve existing code through progressive refactoring.
  • Ensure reliability through unit, integration, and load testing.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and distribute knowledge.
  • Contribute to continuous integration and deployment.
  • Build software that improves the lives of Lyft drivers and passengers.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field at a university in Mexico.
  • Graduating between December 2027 and Summer 2028.
  • Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.
  • Experience with real-time technology problems and databases.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Contributions to open source projects and previous work with social networks are valued.
  • Passion for community, sustainability, and/or transportation.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment.
  • Resume must be submitted in English.

Benefits
