Responsibilities

Design, develop, execute, and troubleshoot secure, stable, scalable software solutions.
Create high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that integrate with appropriate systems.
Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met in code.
Analyze and visualize large, diverse datasets to drive continuous improvement of applications and systems.
Identify problems and patterns in data and use insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
Contribute to software engineering communities of practice, technical events, team culture, and responsible AI-assisted development practices.

Requirements

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficiency with Java EE full-stack development, Spring Boot, and SOLID design principles.
Experience with MQ or Kafka, Oracle, Cassandra, NoSQL, and MongoDB.
Experience with Dockerization, containerization concepts, Kubernetes, JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, and Playwright.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages and overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Understanding of AI models and coding assistants such as Copilot, including the ability to evaluate and refine AI-generated code and follow responsible AI and security practices.
Familiarity with modern front-end technologies, React, JavaScript, AWS offerings, and cloud-agnostic application development and deployments is preferred.
