Responsibilities

Provide trade-floor support to FX and Commodities front-office traders and middle-office operations.
Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with related systems.
Use and validate enterprise-authorized AI coding and automation tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, documentation, and production-support workflows.
Troubleshoot complex business and infrastructure issues in in-house trading applications to minimize downtime.
Develop monitoring tools, automation solutions, helper APIs, and other tools to reduce manual work.
Drive projects involving new business onboarding, infrastructure upgrades, and resiliency management.

Requirements

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Experience with a general-purpose programming language, especially Python, and automation scripting.
Experience managing applications or infrastructure in large-scale on-premises and public-cloud technology environments.
Proficiency with observability and monitoring tools and techniques.
Experience executing processes within the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating, validating, and refining their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
Preferred: domain knowledge of front- or middle-office businesses, including FX or Commodities.
