Responsibilities

Build new functionality in the Remote Compose codebase as part of the Core Remote Compose team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across wearables, home screen app widgets, and other form factors to enable Remote Compose on new surfaces.
Work with the team and community to design and iterate on APIs.
Prioritize the best user experience for the developer community.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
At least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
At least 2 years of Android application development experience.
Experience with Kotlin.
Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field, experience with data structures and algorithms, API design and development, Android libraries, declarative programming, Jetpack Compose, and familiarity with Android as a platform.
