Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and launch intuitive, transparent, and reliable seller-facing features.
Translate complex information and workflows into clear status updates, explanations, and next steps.
Build experiences for seller payments, charges, disputes, issue resolution, and self-service.
Develop APIs and services that provide accurate and consistent information across seller touchpoints.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and partner engineering teams on requirements and technical tradeoffs.
Own scoped features from technical design through deployment and production support.
Improve reliability through automated testing, monitoring, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, share knowledge, and incorporate feedback.

Requirements

3+ years of professional software development experience.
Experience building and maintaining production software using C# or Java.
Experience developing APIs and working with databases, service integrations, and distributed systems.
Experience delivering features from requirements and technical design through testing, deployment, and production support.
Strong problem-solving skills, including investigating issues across systems and handling failure scenarios.
Ability to write maintainable code and meaningful automated tests with attention to correctness, reliability, and performance.
Effective collaboration with engineering and product partners to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Helpful experience includes building customer-facing web applications with modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, simplifying complex processes, developing asynchronous workflows, and using customer feedback and product data to improve usability and reliability.
