Responsibilities

Break larger projects into tasks, deliver work in phases, and collaborate with teammates to ensure timely completion.
Partner with product management, design, and analytics on ideation, technical constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
Build and ship web and mobile applications and scalable APIs for card acquisition and onboarding experiences.
Create and monitor operational metrics, escalate issues, and support keep-the-lights-on and on-call efforts.
Participate in code reviews, interviews, and team growth and development activities.

Requirements

At least 1.5 years of software engineering experience.
Experience shipping web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
Experience shipping mobile applications with native or cross-platform technologies such as React Native.
Experience designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using languages such as Kotlin or Python.
Ability to translate business problems into solutions spanning multiple software components and write clear, well-tested, extensible code.
Ability to navigate large codebases, debug others’ code, and provide constructive code review feedback.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
