Software Engineer II, Channels in USA

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale Braze’s SMS and RCS messaging channels.
  • Develop features spanning message composition, sending, responses, analytics, click tracking, and link shortening.
  • Ship high-value full-stack features quickly from concept through delivery.
  • Own key technical areas and drive initiatives across teams and functions.
  • Solve open-ended distributed-systems problems and help maintain platform dependability as traffic expands.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience.
  • Professional experience building distributed systems at scale.
  • Solid understanding of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Prior experience working in a team environment.
  • Bonus experience with Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, React, or TypeScript.
  • Experience with agile processes is a bonus.
