Responsibilities

  • Own customer-facing features and platform capabilities from design and implementation through rollout and production follow-through.
  • Architect, build, test, and deliver full-stack products across services, APIs, web applications, and mobile experiences.
  • Integrate LLMs into safety workflows and develop agent tooling, retrieval-augmented generation, and AI-driven product interactions.
  • Design evaluations and human-in-the-loop feedback loops to improve AI output accuracy, precision, and reliability.
  • Use AI coding tools and agents to plan, build, and ship software.
  • Make technical tradeoffs involving speed, maintainability, scalability, cost, and customer impact.
  • Operate and improve the reliability and scalability of production systems.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, ML, and platform teams.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience building, shipping, and operating reliable customer-facing production systems.
  • Strong programming fundamentals in Go, Java, or Python and experience writing maintainable code and reviewing peers’ code.
  • Experience developing features or end-to-end solutions across backend services, APIs, and modern web applications.
  • Experience or demonstrated interest in AI-native development, including LLM integration, agentic workflows, or AI evaluations.
  • Experience using data, metrics, logs, tests, or tracing to investigate issues, validate releases, and improve reliability.
  • Ability to independently own moderately complex projects and deliver milestones.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with engineering and cross-functional partners.
  • Preferred experience building production AI or LLM-powered products, agent tooling, RAG, prompt engineering, conversational or voice experiences, and LLM evaluation or observability tools such as Langfuse or Eino.
  • Preferred experience with modern technologies such as Go, GraphQL, TypeScript, React, React Native, and AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
