Responsibilities

Write and reliably deliver Java code with automated unit and integration tests.
Optimize code performance and identify bottlenecks in distributed systems.
Develop new features and improvements for NoSQL data pipeline services while minimizing technical debt.
Break project work into tasks with estimates and participate in code reviews.
Work across requirements, design, prototyping, implementation, review, release, and monitoring.
Troubleshoot problematic code, identify root causes, and resolve customer issues with customer support.
Use AI coding agents for incident resolution, feature development, testing, and investigations.

Requirements

Expertise in Java development.
Experience developing reliable software for high-volume data management under strict SLAs.
Experience with popular cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience using AI coding agents for development.
Knowledge of popular NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Amazon DynamoDB.
Knowledge of and appreciation for clean code practices.
Ability to troubleshoot problematic code and identify root causes.
Preferred experience with MongoDB or Amazon DynamoDB change data capture, ETL or ELT data integration tools, and performance optimization in distributed systems.
