Responsibilities

Design, implement, test, and ship well-defined Couchbase management features integrating with cloud-native technologies.
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews and test-coverage efforts.
Contribute to documentation, examples, and tutorials for cloud-native integrations.
Help Sales Engineers, Professional Services, and Support investigate and resolve customer issues.
Participate in sprint planning, estimation, CI/CD, on-call, and bug-triage rotations.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, senior engineers, and partner engineering teams to refine requirements and designs.
Contribute to open-source cloud-native projects and share knowledge with the engineering community.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 1 year of professional software development experience and proficiency in one or more programming languages.
Working knowledge of containers and Kubernetes through professional, academic, or personal projects.
Experience with software development and build automation processes such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Hands-on experience with Golang or Python, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CloudFormation, Terraform, ARM Templates, or GCP Cloud Deployment Manager.
Comfort working in Unix/Linux environments.
A GitHub or similar presence and interest in open-source contribution are preferred.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work with distributed teams across time zones.
