Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements and design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services.
  • Build and enhance application components, RESTful APIs, microservices, batch and streaming data pipelines, and scalable cloud-native data solutions.
  • Perform data ingestion, ETL/ELT, transformation, data quality management, metadata management, and canonical data modeling.
  • Integrate enterprise applications and cloud platforms using APIs, event streaming, webhooks, messaging, and batch ingestion.
  • Conduct unit and integration testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, production support, monitoring, and reliability improvements.
  • Contribute to technical design, architecture, CI/CD automation, DevOps practices, reusable components, and developer productivity improvements.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA, and cross-functional stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience designing and developing cloud-native data engineering solutions and scalable data pipelines.
  • Experience with Python, PySpark, Spark, Dataproc, SQL, or equivalent distributed data processing frameworks.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform preferred, or AWS/Azure, including cloud-native data services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run.
  • Strong understanding of data ingestion, ETL/ELT, data transformation, data quality, metadata management, canonical data modeling, and SQL.
  • Experience with REST APIs, event streaming, Apache Kafka or Google Pub/Sub, relational and NoSQL databases, and enterprise analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with CCaaS and customer interaction data, BigQuery data marts, semantic datasets, data virtualization, or Metrics as a Service platforms.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, DevOps practices, analytical troubleshooting, and problem solving.
  • Preferred qualifications include Java, customer interaction or journey analytics, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, vector databases, semantic search, Apache Airflow, Cloud Composer, and modernizing or migrating enterprise data platforms.
  • Employment eligibility to work in the United States is required.

Salary: $89k - $150k/yr
