Software Engineer I - Lifecycle Experience in USA

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain user interfaces for Adyen’s Lifecycle Experience onboarding platform using Preact.
  • Own developments through the full lifecycle, including architecture, requirements communication, automated testing, iteration, and impact monitoring.
  • Research, create proofs of concept, and integrate internal and third-party services.
  • Improve the platform’s robustness and scalability while contributing to engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with Frontend, Backend, Data, and cross-functional teams across time zones.

Requirements

  • Three years of software development industry experience or less.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates and stakeholders in person.
  • Willingness to work in Adyen’s office-first hybrid model.

Benefits

  • Hybrid workplace based in the Chicago office with at least three office days per week; remote-only work is not offered.

Salary: $120k - $156k/yr
