Software Engineer, HITL in USA

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated testing for hardware-in-the-loop and hardware-out-of-the-loop software.
  • Develop full-stack solutions for automated testing of vehicle subsystems using simulation and flight software.
  • Contribute to test automation and CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Design, develop, and test scalable, high-performance software for flight-system control, analysis, simulation, and prototyping.
  • Support critical project or proposal timelines, including extended hours and weekends when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, or an engineering discipline.
  • At least 1 year of software-development experience developing applications in Python, C++, Java, or similar languages.
  • Experience with automated testing of HITL or HOOTL software.
  • Experience with test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Preferred: strong software design and development skills and professional full-stack production web-application experience.
  • Preferred: experience with Lit, React, Redux, Bamboo, Ansible, Jenkins, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux or Unix, and database systems.
  • Preferred: skills in debugging, performance optimization, data-throughput analysis, and unit testing.
  • Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance.
  • Must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility requirements or be eligible to obtain required authorizations.

Benefits

  • Base salary range is $125,000.00-$160,000.00 for Level 1 or $145,000.00-$195,000.00 for Level 2.

  • Employees with an active clearance may receive a 10% differential, up to an additional $20,000 annually, after being briefed into a classified program.
  • The position requires obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret clearance and may require pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing for sensitive missions.
