Software Engineer, Full-Stack in Canada new

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement user interfaces for web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, own the user experience, develop wireframes, and create high-fidelity prototypes.
  • Develop and maintain API integrations using React and gRPC.
  • Contribute to back-end development by creating robust APIs with Node.js or Python.
  • Build, test, and deploy full-stack web applications while ensuring responsiveness, performance, and scalability.
  • Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end issues across platforms and devices.
  • Write clean, maintainable, documented code and deploy and debug using platforms such as Vercel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least four years of professional full-stack development experience, with a focus on front-end engineering and API integration.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  • Experience with gRPC and familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and OAuth.
  • Understanding of Node.js or Python and experience with server-side frameworks such as FastAPI or Express.
  • Familiarity with Git and build and deployment platforms such as Vercel.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Benefits

  • California-based candidates have a stated base salary range of $135,000-$300,000 annually.
  • Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation, equity, and benefits.
