Responsibilities

Design and build native C++ or Rust services for Linux, Android, and QNX vehicle targets.
Develop telemetry capabilities including signal collection, on-vehicle metrics, diagnostics, and fleet-reporting configuration tools.
Improve reliable, high-throughput vehicle data uploads and retrieval over Wi-Fi and cellular networks.
Deploy and optimize speech and other ML models on vehicle NPUs against latency and accuracy targets.
Instrument, debug, benchmark, and soak-test software on bench hardware and real vehicles.
Write design documents, review code, and defend performance budgets against regressions.

Requirements

Requires 2–4 years of software engineering experience, or a BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with equivalent demonstrated building experience.
Demonstrated experience building complex software systems through production work, internships, open source, competitions, clubs, or substantial projects.
Strong Linux and systems fundamentals covering processes, concurrency, memory, inter-process communication, and filesystems.
Ability to debug running systems with gdb, perf, and strace.
Proficiency in C++ or Rust and methodical debugging of large interconnected systems.
Clear written communication in design documents, tickets, and code reviews.
Preferred qualifications include experience with ONNX Runtime, TensorRT, TFLite, llama.cpp, ExecuTorch, or silicon vendor SDKs; model quantization; audio or speech systems; Android/AOSP; embedded, automotive, robotics, or real-time systems; networking; gRPC; observability tooling; and open-source or ML infrastructure contributions.
