Responsibilities

  • Design and develop highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant systems.
  • Define business requirements and perform technical design and hands-on coding.
  • Develop user-facing features, reusable code, and libraries.
  • Ensure UI/UX designs are technically feasible and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
  • Validate user input and promote strong design and coding practices.
  • Conduct design and code reviews.
  • Design and implement product architecture and solutions focused on customer needs and successful implementation.
  • Communicate complex problems and viable architecture and design approaches clearly.
  • Improve the agile software development lifecycle through learning and best practices.
  • Occasionally participate in customer demos and provide technical input.
  • Optimize and automate mundane tasks.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of engineering experience with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, SCSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Proficiency building user interfaces with React and its ecosystem, including React Router, server-side rendering, Context API, and React Hooks.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch and Hadoop MapReduce is a plus.
  • Familiarity with generative AI and native desktop applications is a plus.
  • Experience with Webpack module federation and micro-frontend architecture is a plus.
  • Web extension development experience is preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of cross-browser compatibility and solutions.
  • Backend development experience, preferably with Java.
  • Experience building microservices with frameworks such as Spring and working with microservice architecture.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced internet, product, or startup environment.
  • Strong understanding of design principles and their practical application.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and work collaboratively.
