Responsibilities

  • Own the entire lifecycle of features, including design, development, testing, debugging, and deployment.
  • Improve code structure, architecture, testability, and maintainability while writing and reviewing design documentation.
  • Develop desktop-focused solutions involving complex algorithms, automation APIs, system-level APIs, performance engineering, and optimization.
  • Write reusable code using industry standards, design patterns, MVC, SOLID principles, and architectural practices.
  • Collaborate with adjacent and cross-functional teams, including product management and UX/UI designers, and guide design choices affecting owned code.
  • Mentor and teach engineers, participate in hiring activities, and conduct engineering interviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, BTech, or MTech degree in computer science or engineering.
  • At least 8 years of experience writing code and solving technical challenges.
  • Strong working knowledge of C# and good working knowledge of JavaScript, with hands-on experience building SaaS applications using Java, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with coding, development, design, software architecture, system design, testing, debugging, and full SDLC ownership.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, design patterns, architectural principles, MVC, and SOLID principles.
  • Strong communication, analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, collaboration, and self-directed working skills.
  • Desktop application experience is preferred; experience with ReactJS, Swift, or Objective-C is an additional advantage.
