Responsibilities

Develop, test, and operate scalable backend microservices, caching layers, and high-throughput data-processing platforms.
Participate in system design, implementation, automated testing, deployment, maintenance, code reviews, and architectural discussions.
Build and optimize relational and non-relational storage interactions, streaming data pipelines, and database query pathways.
Integrate backend infrastructure with product features and enterprise capabilities in partnership with product engineering teams.
Participate in on-call rotations, debug production issues, and refine monitoring tools while maintaining platform health.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience working within large, well-maintained codebases.
Experience operating backend services in production, including operational tooling, monitoring and alerts, and live incident resolution.
Familiarity with containerized environments, cloud infrastructure, and microservice architectures.
Knowledge of relational or non-relational storage systems, real-time data streaming, or caching layers is preferred.
Clear communication and collaborative work with engineers and cross-functional teams.
Curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies and willingness to use them to improve productivity, collaboration, or decision-making.

Estimated base salary range of $171,000–$190,000, excluding additional compensation components.
