Responsibilities

Design and architect connectors for the Neo4j database.
Build and maintain connectors for a variety of technologies and environments.
Design streaming and data-ingestion APIs that improve Neo4j usability and performance.
Collaborate across teams to enhance core database features when necessary.
Occasionally build frontend interfaces for connectors or integrations requiring user interaction.

Requirements

5+ years of experience developing production-level software.
Experience designing multithreaded systems and algorithms.
Hands-on backend programming experience with Kotlin, Java, or Go.
Ideally, professional experience with distributed event streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka.
Ideally, experience with data processing and analytics platforms such as Apache Spark or Apache Beam.
Ideally, experience with cloud data warehouses such as AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.
Nice to have experience with graph databases such as Neo4j or other SQL/NoSQL databases.
Nice to have frontend development experience with React and TypeScript.
