Responsibilities

  • Design and implement multi-target tracking, track fusion, and threat discrimination algorithms for air and missile defense radar systems.
  • Develop high-performance real-time software that processes radar sensor data and tracks dozens to hundreds of simultaneous targets.
  • Build and use modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance and identify improvements.
  • Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate tracking solutions into end-to-end defense systems.
  • Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments.
  • Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional teams, program leadership, and customers.
  • Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests to support successful deployment and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
  • Knowledge of linear algebra, probability, statistics, and/or differential equations.
  • Understanding of software engineering fundamentals including design patterns, testing, version control, and debugging.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with tracking, estimation, filtering, controls, digital signal processing, radar, sensor fusion, high-performance computing, machine learning, databases, web development, or modeling and simulation tools.
  • Active U.S. Top Secret SCI clearance is preferred.

Salary: $126k - $167k/yr
