Software Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support ViaControl monitor-and-control software for satellite antenna systems.
  • Design, develop, test, and document device drivers and product features.
  • Configure and deploy ViaControl across varied hardware platforms.
  • Integrate software with satellite antenna systems and support hardware integration.
  • Engage with internal and external customers to answer technical questions and resolve operational issues.
  • Collaborate with product development teams and provide real-world performance feedback.
  • Support software design, development, implementation, integration, and testing activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or currently pursuing such a degree.
  • At least 2 years of experience writing Python.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols including TCP, SNMP, or REST.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Ability to work in a Linux-based environment.
  • Preferred experience with device driver development, hardware integration, Ansible, satellite communications, ground systems, or aerospace and defense domains.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, verbal communication, and collaboration skills.

Salary: $117k - $185k/yr
