Responsibilities

Develop complex backend features for Reltio’s enterprise master data management platform.
Present technical solutions to architects and lead feature delivery from design through implementation.
Make day-to-day technical decisions and distribute tasks across one or two engineers.
Collaborate with technical leads, architects, QA, product managers, and other cross-functional representatives.
Review testing approaches and plans, and provide details needed for unit and integration testing.
Maintain internal feature documentation and provide technical implementation support.
Provide technical mentorship and leadership to junior team members.
Support and sustain areas under the engineer’s responsibility.
Perform performance optimization, code profiling, and Java application runtime analysis.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in enterprise application design and development.
At least 2 years of experience developing backend applications.
At least 1 year of experience building scalable distributed data systems using Java and cloud technology.
Strong Java knowledge, including Java 8 or later and Java Runtime fundamentals.
Experience delivering solutions, providing implementation support, and engaging with customers.
Experience developing software for enterprise customers.
Strong foundation in computer science, algorithms, data structures, software design, and large distributed systems.
Hands-on ability to review and write code, with experience providing technical mentorship and leadership.
Preferred experience with SaaS customer support, big data technologies, NoSQL databases, and cloud-managed services such as AWS, GBT, and Azure.
A master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
