Software Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Write Unity Engine or Unreal Engine extensions, including engine runtime modules, graphics components, and native plugins.
  • Prototype and develop engine, graphics, and XR features for PICO XR devices.
  • Integrate new runtime features with Unity tools and build pipelines.
  • Help drive PICO Unity developer SDKs and XR tool packages.
  • Support the developer ecosystem by addressing developer pain points.

Requirements

  • Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
  • Practical knowledge of the Unity Engine scripting APIs.
  • Practical knowledge of 3D graphics, rendering, and shaders.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented design patterns using C++ or C#.
  • Knowledge of 3D vector math and data structures.
  • Preferred: understanding of modern graphics, shaders, and graphics pipelines.
  • Preferred: experience designing immersive XR applications and web or mobile games and apps using Unity.
  • Preferred: experience with native Unity Engine plugin development.
