Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of consumer-facing Tinder Android features.
  • Build in-app experiences for millions of global users.
  • Coordinate with product and design teams to influence the Tinder app and services roadmap.
  • Create and maintain internal shared frameworks and libraries.
  • Develop optimized analytics and innovative data tools for analytics and data science teams.
  • Evolve architecture to support multiple authentication flows and account management.

Requirements

  • Experience building native Android applications.
  • Experience developing applications in Kotlin.
  • Knowledge of MVP, Clean, and MVVM design patterns.
  • Experience writing repositories and factories.
  • Understanding of dependency injection.
  • Experience writing test scripts.
  • Proficiency with coroutines.
  • Clear, solutions-oriented communication and a passion for code quality.
  • Preferred: experience designing and architecting full-stack applications, including API design and UI wireframing.
  • Preferred: experience with Android push notifications and Material Design guidelines.
  • Preferred: BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering.
