Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end feature delivery from UI wireframes through backend implementation, database migrations, and production deployments.
  • Build responsive React interfaces, custom charts, and dashboards using JavaScript and HTML.
  • Develop scalable Java Spring Boot and Python backend services for high-volume telemetry processing.
  • Design and optimize structured SQL and unstructured NoSQL data models for high-throughput, low-latency systems.
  • Use New Relic observability tooling to monitor application health, troubleshoot latency, and improve reliability.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong proficiency with React, vanilla JavaScript, HTML, state management, and modern CSS.
  • Hands-on Java experience, preferably including JVM tuning and microservices frameworks, plus professional Python experience.
  • Understanding of data modeling, schema design, and query optimization with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
  • Mastery of Git workflows, unit and integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines, with tools such as JUnit, Jest, or PyTest.
  • Bonus qualifications include experience with monitoring agents, eBPF probes, OpenTelemetry, MCP servers, AI agent integrations, Apache Kafka, or AWS Kinesis.
