Responsibilities

Manage automated test execution in the LambdaTest environment and investigate recurring, intermittent, and flaky failures.
Support regression, integration, end-to-end, release validation, and post-release testing activities.
Maintain and enhance automation frameworks and integrate tests into shared workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
Standardize test tagging, organization, execution patterns, framework usage, and automation practices across teams.
Improve test reporting, dashboards, notifications, test health visibility, execution speed, stability, scalability, and maintainability.
Maintain test environments, test data, configuration, dependencies, and execution infrastructure.
Implement and maintain automated quality gates and analyze failures across application, automation, environment, data, and infrastructure layers.
Partner with developers and platform teams to identify root causes, improve application testability, and increase release confidence.
Document setup procedures, troubleshooting steps, execution workflows, and operational guidelines.
Improve the quality engineering platform and developer experience through tooling and process enhancements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in SDET, test automation, quality engineering, or a similar engineering role.
Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
Hands-on experience maintaining and enhancing automated test frameworks, including Playwright or other modern frameworks.
Experience with UI automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.
Experience with API automation and validation using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.
Experience managing automated test execution in shared or centralized non-production environments.
Understanding of automation architecture, execution strategies, failure analysis, flaky test detection, retry strategies, parallel execution, and test reporting.
Familiarity with Git-based development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated quality gates.
Experience with CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Harness, or similar CI/CD platforms.
Strong troubleshooting skills across application, automation, environment, and infrastructure layers.
Experience with SQL and database validation, test data, service dependencies, environment configuration, or containerized execution.
Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms, observability, logging, monitoring, and debugging tools.
Understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
Ability to influence and support multiple engineering teams without directly owning their codebases.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
Experience with AI-assisted testing tools and quality engineering practices.
