Software Development Engineer in Test in Others

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers to deliver high-quality products.
  • Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing on new and existing products.
  • Review documentation, define requirements, and create test cases and test plans.
  • Execute manual testing across functional, regression, end-to-end, database, and web services scenarios.
  • Drive performance, load, and security testing practices.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases, using AI to keep the test suite current.
  • Apply GitHub best practices and run automated tests in pipelines and on scheduled processes.
  • Work with the QA organization to build product knowledge, resolve challenges, and share results.
  • Design, document, and implement test strategies, automation, tools, and processes.
  • Mentor junior team members.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with object-oriented programming languages and techniques, including Node, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, RDBMS, and REST APIs.
  • 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining test automation for predominantly backend, web, and mobile applications.
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum QA environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Curiosity, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and continuous-learning mindset.
