Design test strategies, test plans, and test cases for new features and platform enhancements.
Review requirements and technical design documents to identify test scenarios and quality risks.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI, API, integration, and end-to-end automation frameworks.
Develop automated tests to expand regression coverage and reduce manual testing.
Execute automated and manual testing across platforms, devices, and environments.
Investigate, reproduce, document, and verify software defects with development teams.
Monitor automation pipelines, analyze test results, and improve test reliability and efficiency.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams on high-quality releases.
Contribute to quality engineering practices, coding standards, and automation strategy.
Participate in code reviews for automation frameworks and test infrastructure.
Provide quality metrics, risk assessments, and project status updates to stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
3–5 years of experience in SDET, quality engineering, or test automation.
Strong programming experience in one or more of Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or C++.
Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks.
Hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
Experience testing RESTful APIs with Postman, REST Assured, or custom automation frameworks.
Experience testing SDKs, libraries, backend services, and native applications.
Familiarity with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.
Experience in Agile/Scrum software development environments.
Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred: experience testing gaming consoles, embedded systems, mobile devices, or consumer electronics.
Preferred: experience developing production software or backend services.
Preferred: experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Preferred: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, performance, scalability, security, load testing, microservices architectures, and test reporting or analytics tools.
