Responsibilities

Design and build scalable, secure, and reliable features and data solutions across the Reporting API, Amazon Marketing Stream, and processing engines.
Own projects from requirements and system design through implementation, testing, and production support.
Optimize client and server systems for performance, scalability, maintainability, and extensibility while integrating data across many services.
Collaborate with senior and principal engineers on architecture and system design for strategic projects.
Write maintainable code, conduct peer reviews, and promote engineering standards.
Propose tools, frameworks, and automation while driving monitoring, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Partner with product managers, technical account managers, technical program managers, and mentees to understand customer needs and promote engineering excellence.

Requirements

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
