Software Development Engineer in USA new

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, troubleshoot, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network-distribution software.
  • Develop software and tools supporting design, infrastructure, technology platforms, operating systems, compilers, networks, utilities, databases, and cloud- or Internet-related tools.
  • Design, develop, debug, and enhance software programs for new and existing products.
  • Determine hardware compatibility and influence hardware design where applicable.
  • Develop systems-level software within an area of specialization and apply engineering principles to AMD systems and products.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience programming in Python, C, or C++.
  • Experience with CUDA and Git.
  • Knowledge of compiler optimization techniques for GPU computing and CPU, GPU, or SoC architecture.
  • Experience with OS kernels and systems development, 3D pipelines, 2D/3D graphics, and object-oriented design.
  • Experience with Linux or Windows internals and software debugging in macOS, Linux, or Unix.
  • Experience may be gained through graduate-level coursework, research, or internship experience.

Salary: $139k - $154k/yr
