Software Development Engineer in USA

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and implement federated and highly scalable distributed systems.
  • Build enterprise-class supply chain products from the ground up using native AWS technologies.
  • Develop systems with high availability, low latency, and high throughput.
  • Contribute to product standards, architecture, and early-stage product ideation.
  • Produce high-quality, reliable code and solve challenging large-scale software problems.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
  • At least 4 years of Software Development Engineer or related occupational experience.
  • At least 3 years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
  • At least 3 years of object-oriented design experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
