Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable AWS and GCP cloud infrastructure with Terraform and reusable IaC libraries.
Create reusable, self-service CI/CD workflows, templates, and shared building blocks.
Automate operational toil using code, prompt engineering, and AI-driven workflows.
Build observability dashboards, alerts, and SLIs; participate in on-call rotation and lead blameless post-mortems.
Operate and tune containerized services and help guide the transition to Kubernetes.
Manage provisioning, infrastructure, and backups for MySQL, MSSQL, and Postgres databases.
Implement cloud-native security, compliance checks, least-privilege IAM, zero-downtime deployments, and disaster recovery practices.
Review infrastructure code, improve documentation, and mentor intermediate engineers.

Requirements

Proven experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering supporting production SaaS at meaningful scale.
Strong hands-on AWS experience across compute, networking, and IAM, with Terraform and Well-Architected principles.
Experience building reusable CI/CD workflows, templates, or shared libraries with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
Programming ability in Python or a similar language, along with version control and code review practices.
Experience operating containerized production workloads, tuning scaling behavior, and working with managed database services.
Proficiency with observability tools, SLIs, alerts, incident response, and post-mortems.
Demonstrated use of prompt engineering and AI agents to automate engineering and operational tasks.
Clear, inclusive communication and a collaborative platform mindset focused on developer experience and tool adoption.
Kubernetes migration, GCP, FinOps, or regulated-environment experience is preferred.
