Responsibilities

  • Build applications and infrastructure for the Tyler suite of products.
  • Collaborate with product teams and cross-functional departments to bring products and features to market.
  • Contribute to product vision, planning, architecture, design, usability, APIs, and documentation.
  • Support deployment and runtime issue resolution with Technical Support and other departments.
  • Contribute to cloud migration efforts and internal process improvement.
  • Facilitate code reviews.
  • Design and implement frameworks, microservices, and reusable components for Tyler products.
  • Develop and extend core features for existing infrastructure microservices.
  • Participate in sprint definitions and reviews as needed.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in C# and .NET 6+.
  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, and a frontend framework such as Angular.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with Linux, Git, and Docker.
  • Strong RESTful API knowledge.
  • Experience with test-driven development.
  • Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize work.
  • Self-motivated approach with a high level of ownership and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Beneficial experience includes cloud services, NoSQL databases, document storage services, message queues, notification services, Terraform, automated testing, load testing, CI/CD, LocalStack, and AWS certifications.
