Responsibilities

  • Perform testing activities to improve product quality and product test coverage.
  • Develop and apply test strategies, approaches, plans, and techniques for web-based applications.
  • Participate in sprint planning, analyze requirements, and provide QA and testing recommendations.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, customer service, operations, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Mentor and coach junior QA engineers and share testing best practices.
  • Lead testing activities within the team and proactively resolve issues arising during testing.
  • Support product growth through activities such as competitor research and customer troubleshooting.
  • Use AI coding tools and evaluate AI-driven development workflows and integrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
  • Upper-intermediate English proficiency and strong communication skills.
  • Experience testing web-based applications and applying test strategy, test planning, black-box, risk-based, exploratory, and non-UI testing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and software testing life cycle.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and sharing best practices with team members.
  • Ability to work independently and lead testing activities within a team.
  • Basic knowledge or experience with test automation concepts, frameworks, and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Postman is preferred.
  • Ability or willingness to write basic automated test scripts and transition into test automation.
  • Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor, and Claude Code is preferred.
  • Experience with agentic workflows, AI-driven development frameworks, and MCP or equivalent integrations is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, quality-focused, and continuous-learning skills.
