Senior Test Automation Engineer in Remote new

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, report, and collaborate on fixing product and service bugs.
  • Perform manual acceptance testing and exploratory testing.
  • Build and maintain test case documentation.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests using modern automation frameworks.
  • Test REST and GraphQL APIs and verify data directly in databases using SQL.
  • Debug web applications and client-server behavior using HTTP and Browser DevTools.
  • Lead QA practices within the team and drive quality assurance standards across Super Dispatch.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA teams on development and testing projects.
  • Contribute to an autonomous, cross-functional agile product team.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of QA experience, including at least 1 year as a QA Engineer in an agile, product-driven environment.
  • At least 1 year of experience with testing automation tools.
  • Proficiency in Python or TypeScript and the ability to read developers’ code.
  • Practical experience with modern automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Pytest.
  • Strong SQL skills for validating database data.
  • Expertise in API testing, including REST and GraphQL endpoints, with tools such as Postman or cURL.
  • Strong understanding of client-server architecture, web applications, browsers, and HTTP.
  • Strong knowledge of test design techniques and quality assurance practices.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Advanced English proficiency and experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred qualifications include web development programming experience, CI/CD knowledge, experience testing AI/LLMs/chatbots, and logistics or auto-transport domain experience.
