Responsibilities

  • Manage incidents, application monitoring, logging, alerting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Debug complex application systems and troubleshoot code to resolve business-impacting issues.
  • Deploy, operate, support, and improve software using DevOps and continuous delivery practices.
  • Deliver high-quality, well-tested bug fixes and enhancements while improving system stability and availability.
  • Advocate for cloud resource optimization, monitoring, alerting, security, and operational best practices.
  • Mentor less experienced peers and junior consultants through technical guidance and leadership.
  • Participate in a rotation- and need-based 24x7 available team.

Requirements

  • Experience with Node.js, React, AWS, Azure, GCP, Python, or PowerShell.
  • Understanding of monolithic, N-tier, layered, microservices, and serverless architectures.
  • Strong debugging and triaging skills for effective code troubleshooting.
  • Experience with MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and relational or non-relational databases.
  • Experience with Docker, Jenkins, and Azure Pipelines.
  • Experience with Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana for application monitoring, metrics, reporting, and corrective actions.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, well-tested bug fixes and enhancements.
  • Comfort with Agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Strong communication, technical advocacy, mentoring, resilience, and knowledge-sharing skills.
