Responsibilities

Fix product bugs and deliver code changes to production to improve product reliability, resiliency, stability, and sustenance.
Investigate and drive cloud production issues through root-cause analysis and solution delivery with extended development teams.
Suggest and propose solutions to complex design problems for assigned technologies and workloads.
Work with Sales, Technical Support, Customer Success, and Professional Services on proofs of concept and implementation projects.
Validate future releases in staging for customer use cases and act as a gatekeeper for product release and quality assurance.
Partner with scrum teams and Product Management on feature design and product improvements.
Maintain clear cross-functional communication about product updates and known issues.

Requirements

6–9 years of experience in a combination of software development and sustenance roles.
Extensive hands-on experience with Go or Python on Unix/Linux or Windows.
Strong programming skills in data structures, algorithms, and software design concepts.
Experience with enterprise software and software development involving threading, networking, disk I/O, data transformations, data integrity, systems management, systems administration, and monitoring.
Strong problem-solving, technical presentation, written communication, verbal communication, and stakeholder relationship skills.
B.Tech, B.E., M.E., or M.Tech in Information Technology or Computer Science, or equivalent.
Desirable: 6 or more years of software development experience in Python or Golang.
Desirable: experience developing complex, scale-out distributed systems.
Desirable: experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
Desirable: exposure to Office 365, VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, file systems, or NAS.
Knowledge of backup or storage domains is advantageous.
