Responsibilities

  • Drive architecture and design for high-quality data pipelines and backend systems.
  • Define roadmaps and vision for scalable, robust online-serving platforms.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to make platforms open and extensible.
  • Align stakeholders and lead engineers on mission-critical projects.
  • Decompose complex problems into straightforward solutions.
  • Apply internal and industry best practices in system design.
  • Investigate and resolve critical system issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • At least 12 years of experience in software design and development using Java and Python.
  • Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying scalable, highly available systems.
  • Experience with large-system architecture design and development.
  • Experience with cloud computing using AWS.
  • Experience developing container-based testing environments.
  • Experience with Java, IntelliJ, and Spring.
