Responsibilities

Build software and solutions that enable engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
Research AI-augmented agentic solutions and lead large-scale test automation initiatives.
Monitor test environments and provide support when errors and incidents occur.
Define end-to-end test strategies, analyze requirements, create test plans, and design test cases for new features and integrations.
Lead quality initiatives for one or more teams.
Identify improvements to the technology stack and test products and systems to uncover issues.
Use quality and performance metrics to drive improvements.

Requirements

7+ years of testing experience, ideally with web applications.
7+ years working directly with product teams in an agile environment.
6+ years of UI and API automation experience.
At least 1 year developing AI-augmented agentic testing frameworks and evaluations for AI-driven applications.
6+ years working with CI/CD build pipelines focused on test automation, including GitHub Actions, CircleCI, and Kubernetes.
Experience developing and maintaining test automation tools with Puppeteer, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, and MCP servers.
Experience with API testing frameworks such as Postman, REST-assured, and Pact.
Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, or Python.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Previous startup experience and testing in an Agile development life cycle are preferred.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Benefits

Targeted base salary range in Canada is CAD $137,600–$172,000, with potential eligibility for variable pay, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
