Responsibilities

Build and maintain web services for configuration, monitoring, and data ingestion from TVision’s in-home measurement devices.
Build and maintain data pipelines supporting recognition and analysis of device-captured content.
Develop tools and libraries for backend data processes in collaboration with data science and analytics teams.
Improve database performance and make software engineering best practices accessible across the team.
Ensure data quality, security, and delivery timeliness through testing, code review, and operational monitoring.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
At least 3 years of experience building backend services and distributed data systems.
Experience with Python and modern Python engineering best practices.
Preferred experience building batch and streaming data pipelines at scale.
Preferred experience with AWS infrastructure, DevOps tooling, CI/CD workflows, containerized web services, cloud-hosted architectures, and modern deployment patterns.
Preferred knowledge of relational databases, data lake technologies, performance optimization, and Spark, Databricks, Flink, or similar frameworks.
Preferred ability to collaborate with quantitative and data science teams to optimize computational workflows and data processing efficiency.
