Responsibilities

  • Design and operate distributed data streaming platforms processing billions of events per day.
  • Develop secure, performant, and reliable systems using Kafka, Flink, and Debezium.
  • Collaborate with product, infrastructure, data, and ML teams to support diverse platform use cases.
  • Build tools and documentation that improve the experience of internal developers.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including building distributed systems at scale.
  • Experience with Kafka, Flink, and Debezium.
  • Proficiency designing and implementing event-driven architectures and stream processing systems.
  • Interest in platform engineering and creating strong developer experiences.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams.
