Responsibilities

Design, implement, and operate internal Infrastructure-as-a-Service offerings on container orchestrator platforms.
Improve and scale large distributed 24x7 services for availability, cost efficiency, and elastic scalability.
Build frameworks and tools for development automation, testing, cluster management, and monitoring.
Collaborate with partner teams on work plans, metrics, milestones, rollout plans, alerts, and runbooks.
Develop high-quality reusable code while maintaining site reliability.
Influence strategy for future product features and system capabilities and improve service-level agreements and rollout times.

Requirements

At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing, delivering, and operating large-scale distributed systems.
Strong experience operating active/active distributed systems on Kubernetes or Nomad with service discovery systems such as Consul.
Strong programming experience with Go, Java, or C++.
Strong scripting and test automation abilities.
Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, AlertManager, and Kibana telemetry and monitoring stacks.
BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Benefits

Annual base salary range of $243,290–$295,250 USD for roles based at the San Mateo, California headquarters.
Full-time employees are eligible for equity compensation and benefits.
Office-based roles are onsite Tuesday through Thursday, with optional presence Monday and Friday.
