Senior Software Engineer, Simulation Infrastructur in USA

Responsibilities

  • Build and support in-house simulation services for business development, mission design, operations, and ground and flight software engineering teams.
  • Define technical proposals and contribute to the architectural direction of Simulation tools.
  • Integrate physical simulation models into complete products with Simulation Engineer teammates.
  • Use client feedback to drive iterative improvements to simulation products.
  • Expand test coverage through novel off-nominal test scenarios and integrate simulation tools into automated testing campaigns.
  • Provide reliable estimation and planning, support team alignment with company goals, and mentor Simulation and Test engineers.

Requirements

  • B.S. or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience in a team environment.
  • Strong programming experience in Python and C++.
  • Ability to collaborate with specialized experts on complex, cross-functional products and work in novel technical domains.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include numerical simulation, statistical analysis, Julia, Linux systems administration, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud deployment, Software-in-the-Loop simulation, DevOps practices, and orbital satellite operations experience.

Salary: $184k - $208k/yr
