Responsibilities

Design and build high-performance content creation, sharing, and consumption experiences across Roblox Moments.
Own projects end to end from design and architecture through launch and iteration, with measurable impact on engagement and content quality.
Collaborate with product, safety, infrastructure, and engineering teams on scalable solutions and best practices.
Identify and improve performance, testing, experimentation, and team effectiveness workflows.
Maintain high technical quality and user experience standards while rapidly iterating on features.
Mentor peers and contribute to team processes and an inclusive culture.

Requirements

5+ years of experience building production frontend or client applications and complex user interfaces.
Deep hands-on React experience, including hooks, component composition, render performance, and state management with Redux or comparable patterns.
Strong modern JavaScript, rendering, layout, and web/client fundamentals.
Experience integrating backend services through REST or GraphQL and designing resilient client data flows.
Willingness to work across languages and runtimes and learn Luau.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Office-based roles are onsite Tuesday through Thursday, with optional presence Monday and Friday.
The role is based at the San Mateo, California headquarters for the stated salary range.

Salary: $243k - $295k/yr
