Responsibilities

Define and drive the technical roadmap for regulatory reporting automation across licensed entities and jurisdictions.
Lead architecture decisions across data pipelines, submission tooling, and AI-assisted compliance workflows.
Own regulatory reporting milestones and ensure reports are accurate, timely, and auditable.
Serve as the primary engineering contact for Compliance, Legal, and Finance stakeholders.
Translate regulatory requirements into technical specifications and engineering designs.
Drive adoption of AI/LLM tooling for review, gap analysis, and interpretation tasks.
Define and uphold data quality, testing, and reconciliation standards across reporting models.
Partner with Core Banking engineering on shared data platform capabilities.

Requirements

At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
Strong backend engineering foundation with Python, Kotlin, or Java and comfort with SQL at scale.
Experience leading delivery of complex, multi-stakeholder technical programmes.
Ability to translate ambiguous regulatory or compliance requirements into clear engineering designs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in financial services, regulatory technology, or compliance automation is preferred.
Production analytics engineering experience with dbt, Databricks, Spark, or BigQuery is preferred.
Familiarity with LLM and agent frameworks, including RAG, tool use, and evaluation pipelines, is preferred.
Experience operating in multi-jurisdiction, multi-entity environments is preferred.
Experience building reconciliation and data quality frameworks for financial reporting is preferred.
